Residential Services

Watts Energy currently only provides residential services for:

  • Cathedral Place – 41 Gotha St, Fortitude Valley QLD Australia

The Body Corporate has appointed a third party to administer the supply of electricity for Cathedral Place. For this property, the Body Corporate purchases all the electricity from the retailer and on-sells to the apartment occupiers in accordance with the QLD Electricity Act. Watts Energy’s role is to perform the necessary electricity meter readings and account expediting functions on behalf of the Body Corporate/Owner. Watts Energy DOES NOT supply the electricity to the premises. Please note that your electricity invoices will be issued monthly from our parent company, Active Utilities and will be sent to your post box at Cathedral Place unless you advise differently. 

When you receive your invoice, using the customer number, you will be able to access your invoice via the customer portal by visiting https://custport.activeutilities.com.au and activating your account. You will also be able to update your personal and/or payment information if required.

Electricity Connections

If you require a new connection of the electricity supply at Cathedral Place, you may wish to complete the connection form. Please provide up to two (2) business day notice.

Disconnections

If you are moving out of your premise at Cathedral Place and require disconnection of the electricity supply, you may wish to complete the disconnection form. Please provide up to two (2) business days notice.

Electricity Rebate

To be eligible for the Queensland Government Electricity Rebate you will need to hold one of the following cards:

  • Pensioner Concession Card (issued by Centrelink or DVA)
  • Health Care Card (issued by Centrelink excluding Commonwealth Seniors Health Card)
  • Queensland Seniors Card (issued by Dept. of Child Safety, Seniors & Disability Services) or
  • DVA Veteran Card – All Conditions within Australia (Gold Card) – 
    War Widow/Widower or TPI

If you have a valid card, please complete the Electricity Rebate form as soon as possible and return to Watts Energy so we can process your application in time for your next bill.
